Making brands visible™
RiAus is a national scientific non-profit organisation whose goal is to make science accessible and inspiring.
As a sister organisation to the UK’s Royal Institute, RiAus had an existing brand, but wanted to refine and expand on it in order to establish their own identity and to help facilitate their expansion into video content as ‘Australia’s Science Channel’.
We modernised their logo to reflect their growing confidence and to work better across broadcast and online applications, and developed a system for sub-brands and show titles. Treating the mark as a window, we created a system where the logo sits on a split image, showing different perspectives and focus on a singular item. This split then became the unifying element for both print applications as well as broadcast idents.
