The Hairdresser is a boutique salon located on the fringe of Adelaide’s CBD. The salon required a new look to reflect the personality of the new owners and they engaged us to develop the visual identity and various collateral.

At the heart of the brand is the repeating pattern which draws inspiration from 60s psychedelia, something the salons older clientele identifies with. The pattern is used across all printed collateral, a website as well as a wallpaper pattern inside the salon reception. The logotype was designed to compliment the pattern and reflect the fashionable nature of the service on offer while also alluding to the swirls of hair seen on the salon floor.
